We keep the following, and why:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Records we must retain by law — financial, tax and accounting | Legal obligation |
| Anonymous statistics | No longer identifies you. Removing it would corrupt historic reporting |
| Backups | Overwritten automatically on our normal cycle rather than edited individually |
Deleting your account is permanent. We cannot restore it afterwards.
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account and brokerage data | While the account is active |
| Inactive accounts | 24 months after last sign-in, then deleted within 90 days |
| Enquirer personal data | 24 months after last activity, then name, email and phone permanently removed. The remaining record is anonymous and kept for statistics |
| Financial and commission records | As required by tax and accounting law |
| Backups | Overwritten on our normal backup cycle |
We review inactive accounts and records at least quarterly and delete what has passed its retention period.
Deletion is one of several rights you have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012. You may also request access to your information, correct it, object to how it is processed, or receive a copy in portable form. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
