Ad Account

Ad Account is the Meta account that gets billed for ad spend. Each Ad Account has its own billing, currency, and timezone settings, serving as the financial container for all advertising activity across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp.

When you run ads through Meta, every campaign, ad set, and ad lives inside an Ad Account. The account holds your payment method, spending limits, and historical performance data. Meta assigns each Ad Account a unique numeric ID, which is used to track billing and access permissions.

Core Features

  • Billing Management: Attach credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal as payment methods with automatic or manual billing thresholds
  • Currency Settings: Lock the account to a single currency (such as PHP for Philippine brokers) that applies to all campaigns and reporting
  • Timezone Configuration: Set the account timezone (e.g., Asia/Manila) to align campaign scheduling and reporting with your local business hours
  • Spending Limits: Define account-level spending caps to control total ad expenditure across all active campaigns
  • User Permissions: Grant team members admin, advertiser, or analyst roles to control who can create campaigns or view reports
  • Audit History: Review a log of all changes made to campaigns, budgets, and account settings

Use Cases

Ad Accounts serve as the operational foundation for Philippine real estate advertising:

  • Brokerage Campaigns: A real estate brokerage sets up an Ad Account in PHP currency with Manila timezone to run property listing ads for pre-selling condominiums
  • Agent-Level Accounts: Individual real estate brokers maintain their own Ad Accounts to track personal ad spend and lead generation performance separately from the brokerage
  • Developer Partnerships: Property developers provide Ad Account access to authorized brokers, enabling co-funded advertising campaigns for new developments
  • Budget Oversight: Team leads set account-level spending limits to ensure agents stay within approved monthly advertising budgets

Integration with iRealtee

Through iRealtee's Meta Ads Integration, you connect your Ad Account during the initial setup process. iRealtee reads your account's currency and timezone settings to display campaign budgets and schedules accurately within the platform.

When you create campaigns using iRealtee's campaign creation tools, the platform publishes ads directly to your connected Ad Account. All billing occurs through Meta's standard payment system — iRealtee never processes ad spend payments directly.

For Philippine brokers, connecting an Ad Account configured with PHP currency ensures that daily budgets and cost metrics display in pesos, eliminating confusion from currency conversion.
