Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel is essential for Philippine real estate brokers running performance-driven campaigns:

Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel is a tracking code placed on your website or form that measures conversions and helps Meta optimize ad delivery. It works by firing a small snippet of JavaScript whenever a visitor takes a specific action, such as submitting a lead form, viewing a property page, or completing a reservation. This data feeds back into Meta's ad delivery system, enabling it to find and serve ads to people most likely to convert.

Key Concepts

  • Conversion Tracking: The Pixel records when a visitor completes a desired action (form submission, page view, purchase) and attributes that conversion to the specific ad that drove it
  • Event-Based Measurement: Standard events like "Lead," "ViewContent," and "Purchase" map directly to real estate actions such as inquiry submissions, listing views, and reservation payments
  • Optimization Signal: Meta uses Pixel data to refine its audience targeting over time, delivering your ads to users whose browsing behavior resembles that of previous converters
  • Audience Building: Pixel data enables retargeting audiences, allowing you to re-engage visitors who browsed your property listings but did not submit an inquiry
  • Attribution Window: Conversions are typically attributed within a 7-day click or 1-day view window, though this is configurable in your ad account settings

Use Cases

Meta Pixel is essential for Philippine real estate brokers running performance-driven campaigns:

  • Property Inquiry Tracking: Measure how many prospects submit inquiry forms on your listing pages after clicking a Facebook ad
  • Web Form Campaign Optimization: When running Web Form campaigns in iRealtee, the Pixel tracks form completions and sends conversion data back to Meta for delivery optimization
  • Retargeting Campaigns: Build custom audiences of visitors who viewed specific developments or price ranges, then serve them follow-up ads
  • Cost Per Lead Analysis: Compare conversion costs across different property types, locations, and developer projects

Integration with iRealtee

In iRealtee's Meta Ads integration, the Pixel is selected during the Setup step of campaign creation. For Web Form campaigns, selecting a Pixel is recommended to enable conversion optimization. Pixels are imported automatically when you connect your Business Portfolio in the Meta Ads settings page.

If your Pixel does not appear in the Setup step, ensure that your Business Portfolio is connected and that the Pixel is linked to your Ad Account in Meta Business Settings. Personal account connections typically do not include Pixel access.
