Ad Reach

Monitoring ad reach helps Philippine real estate brokers make informed campaign decisions:

Ad Reach

Ad Reach is the number of unique people who saw your ad. Unlike impressions, where a single person may be counted multiple times, each person is counted only once regardless of how many times the ad appeared in their feed. Reach provides a clear measure of how large an audience your campaign has actually engaged.

Key Concepts

  • Unique Count: Reach counts individual users, not individual ad views. If the same person sees your ad three times, reach counts as one while impressions count as three
  • Estimated Metric: Meta calculates reach using sampling and statistical modeling, meaning it is an approximation rather than an exact count
  • Reach vs. Impressions: Reach tells you how many people saw your ad; impressions tell you how many times your ad was displayed. The ratio between impressions and reach determines your ad frequency
  • Daily vs. Lifetime Reach: Daily reach counts unique users per day, while lifetime reach counts unique users over the entire campaign duration. A person counted in daily reach on Monday and Tuesday still counts as one in lifetime reach
  • Audience Saturation: When reach approaches your total target audience size, frequency rises and cost per result typically increases, signaling that it may be time to refresh creative or expand targeting

Use Cases

Monitoring ad reach helps Philippine real estate brokers make informed campaign decisions:

  • Audience Size Validation: Confirm whether your targeting settings (location, demographics, interests) are reaching a sufficient number of potential buyers
  • OFW Campaign Coverage: When targeting overseas Filipino workers across 13 countries, reach indicates how many unique OFWs have seen your property ads
  • Budget Efficiency: Compare reach across campaigns with different daily budgets to determine the optimal spend level for your target market
  • Creative Fatigue Detection: A stalling reach figure combined with rising frequency suggests your audience has seen the ad too many times and fresh creative is needed

Integration with iRealtee

Ad reach is available as a column in iRealtee's campaign reporting dashboard. It appears alongside impressions, clicks, and other performance metrics in the campaign table. You can toggle its visibility from the column settings.

Within campaign management, reach data helps you evaluate whether a campaign is scaling effectively. For hub administrators, the hub-level reporting view aggregates reach across all campaigns in the organization, providing a comprehensive view of total audience coverage.
